Instrument

I am but an instrument

sent here to play a song

I need to find the right notes

that will help get along

at times I play off tune

I just can't find the key

I struggle with my solo

afraid others might hear me

I'm given instructions 

from the masters of the craft

I only have to follow 

what each leader brings to pass

It will take a lifetime

before I know what songs in me

but I know I only play one part

of God's own Symphony
